      Galvanised skids

Our sling plates have a galvanised coating. This is also called galvanised steel. It means that the sling plate has a coated zinc layer, making it more resistant to corrosion. Because of this coating, they are not only better protected against rusting (corrosion), but also against various weather conditions and are quite robust. But now the question rests: can a galvanised sling plate rust? That depends on usage and what the sling plate is exposed to. If they are often exposed in a wet environment, the layer will be corroded faster, which means that any rusting can occur earlier. So keep in mind what you intend to use the sling plates for and where you will store your vehicles.
